Questions
Can I make a QRIS code without an acquirer?
No. QRIS is a registered-merchant standard: the NMID and merchant PAN are issued to you by a licensed acquirer, and a payload without valid ones is not a QRIS code.
Is a QRIS code the same as a bank transfer QR?
No. QRIS is the national interoperable standard mandated by Bank Indonesia, which any participating app can read. A bank’s own transfer QR is not necessarily interoperable.
