CREATING CODES

Bulk create from a spreadsheet

One code or link for every row of a spreadsheet, checked before anything is made.

Open Bulk in the sidebar. A bulk job takes a CSV or spreadsheet file and makes one code, link or page per row, in five steps.

1. What to make

Choose what each row becomes. The screen lists the columns your file needs for each:

  • Dynamic QR codes: change where each one goes after printing. Needs a link and a name.
  • Static QR codes: the link is in the pattern and never changes. Needs a link and a name. Static codes are unlimited and never count towards your dynamic codes.
  • Landing pages: a page and its QR code for each row, such as shop pages or agent profiles.
  • Business cards: a contact QR code for each person, for ID cards or conference badges.
  • Product and shipping barcodes: EAN-13, UPC-A, ITF-14, Code 128 and more. Check digits are verified on every row.
  • Short links: a short link for each row, with no QR code.

2. Your file

Upload your file. The first row should hold column names.

3. Match columns

Tell us which of your columns holds each field. Your columns don't need to have our names.

4. Check

Every row is checked before anything is made. A row that can't be encoded, such as an address that isn't valid, is listed with the reason. It never stops the rest of the job: a file of 4,000 rows with three mistakes makes 3,997 codes and names the three rows to fix.

5. Make and download

The job runs and you download the codes as one archive. Each code gets a unique short link, checked against every existing one. Downloading the same job again gives you exactly the same files, so a reprint always matches the first print.

Recent jobs stay on the Recent jobs tab, so you can download a batch again later.

Keep a Google Sheet in sync

On plans that include it, choose Keep a Google Sheet in sync. New rows become codes on a schedule: hourly, every 6 hours, daily or weekly. It never changes or removes a code it has already made.
